Local AccommodationsHolmes Student Center: This is the university's hotel, and is also the building where talks will be held. Only a limited number of rooms are available. For reservations, call (815) 753-1444 and mention that you will be attending the conference hosted by the Math Department. University Plaza: This is a privately-owned dormatory complex that is a five minute walk from Holmes Student Center. The rate is $30.99 per day, which includes a hot breakfast buffet. Each room is a private sleeping room that shares a bath/shower with one other sleeping room. (Two rooms share one bath.) Bed linen and towels are provided. The rooms will not have telephones, televisions, or clock radios, so bring your own alarm clock. Amenities include wireless internet access throughout the building, wired internet access in each room, an exercise room, and a common area on the floor where conference participants will stay.
A block of 40 rooms is reserved from Aug 11 to Aug 14 for our conference.
