Getting to DeKalb
For ground transportation between Chicago airports and DeKalb, one can
either rent a car or make a reservation with DeKalb O'Hare Limousine
Service. The driving distance between either Chicago airport and Dekalb
is approximately 65 miles.

DeKalb O'Hare Linousine Service provides rides between
DeKalb and both Chicago airports (O'Hare Airport and Midway Airport).
You must contact the limousine service and make your reservations ahead
of time. The charge for one-way service between DeKalb and O'Hare Airport is
$90, and between DeKalb and Midway Airport the charge is $100. One
additional passenger will be charged an additional $10, so if you can
coordinate your reservation with someone else, the per-passenger charge

Conference Shuttle: In addition, the conference is planning to provide some ground transportation between O'Hare airport and DeKalb. We plan to arrange two pick-ups from O'Hare to DeKalb on Tuesday, August 11: one in the afternoon and one in the evening. On Friday, August 14, we will have one or two vans going from DeKalb to O'Hare after the conference ends, at around 3 p.m. or so. On August 11, there will be two shuttles leaving O'Hare airport, one at 3:30 pm and one at 8:30 pm. Those who will be using shuttles should call their respective driver for instructions on how and where to meet him after their arrivals at the airport.
