Physical Education at NIU
Bachelor of Science in Education
Start students on the path to health and wellness.
When someone develops healthy habits when they're young, it impacts their entire life. You can help students in kindergarten through 12th grade learn the importance of health and wellness by majoring in physical education. It's a rewarding way to share your love of being active while promoting students’ social and emotional development.
I wanted to study physical education because I always knew I wanted to be a teacher and I love to be active. Being a physical education teacher allows me to be active and do what I love.
