We are pleased to announce that a Conference on Complex Analysis honoring the contributions of David Drasin and Linda Sons will be held at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, May 21-23, 2010 (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday morning).

There will be nine plenary speakers each giving a 50-minute talk, and many invited speakers each giving a 25-minute talk in parallel sessions.

The plenary speakers at the conference are:

Albert Baernstein II
Alexandre Eremenko
David Hamilton
Walter Hayman
Ilpo Laine
John Lewis
Allen Weitsman
Jang-Mei Wu
Lawrence Zalcman

There is no registration fee for the conference.

We encourage participants to seek support for conference expenses. Some financial support has been secured from the NSF and will be available to a number of speakers in the parallel sessions. We encourage graduate students, postdoctoral fellows, women, and minorities to attend the conference and to speak in the parallel sessions. We have set aside a limited amount of the funds supporting the conference specifically for members of these groups.

The details of each event (e.g., the number and title of parallel sessions, banquet, and travel information) will be provided in a subsequent conference announcement.

Please feel free to forward this announcement to any colleagues who might be interested in attending the conference.
